Alicia Marie (age 14) performs her version of Green Onions at the Eagles Steak Fry fundraiser for the local animal shelter. .
Enjoy your videos. Some of the folks that you pay tribute to, in re-creating their signature pieces, is spot on. Blues and Jazz are most definitely, two strictly American art forms. Having been a die hard rock fan when I was (a bit) younger, a friend of mine turned me on to Jazz, which at the time, I was reluctant to even consider listening to, never mind exploring. Well, all it took, was for me to hear the sax of the late John Coltrane, and I was hooked. From there, I got into B.B. King and Buddy Guy. It was "Thank Me Someday" and "Damn Right I Got the Blues" which brought my ear to the music of Buddy Guy. Have you ever considered giving Stevie Ray Vaughn's "Scuttle Buttin'" (from his Couldn't Stand the Weather release) a run on your guitar? Keep on playin'.
OMG! you brought that to another level… Are you writing your own stuff yet? If so I am gonna need to hear it.

Excellent! If you haven't already heard it, check out Mike Bloomfield and Al Kooper's version on their "Live Adventures of…." from 1968, I think, one of my favourite ever blues songs…

Hey that's really great!! Like Keith Richards and Steve Cropper, you appreciate the space between the notes. Very spare and direct sound with no wasted notes.
