Candye Kane invites Alicia (age 16) on guitar to sit in with her and her band. This tune is called, “Put It All In There.”
Candye Kane AND Laura Chavez..great job. you held your own up there. you really should get yourself a bass player and a drummer and do your own thing. you have the chops,the tone and the feel and oh yeah, a great voice.
Hey, you deserve to be up there…. hot band…. got it goin on… congrats
Gosh, thank you so much! I got into blues after I bought a Hal Leonard blues backing track book for the heck of it. I then started buying some of the book's featured artist's records, and it took off from there.
Hopefully the Grant Green Sookie, not Jersey Shore's Sookie, right? 🙂
Great solo Alicia. I would buy a ticket to see you in concert. How did you get into blues if you don't mind me asking?
@daviemcf Thanks a lot, Davie!
@bluesfanlenny Thank you!
@fieldfullofthistles Sorry for the late reply! Thank you so very much! It's so cool to read that you think I am playing some Gene Vincent licks in parts. The other guitar player is Laura Chavez. If you aren't familiar with her stuff, please check it out. She's a monster!
Great band…great number…great guitar solos…just bloody GREAT!!!!! xo
Alicia, great solo!
Very good playing Alicia – and its not easy sitting in and taking solos. Some nice Texas blues licks in there along with a hint of Gene Vincent (Be Bop a Lula). Enjoyed. The other guitarist is very good too.
